When your flights are booked, an airline reservation is made and a confirmation # for the reservation is issued. You will use this airline confirmation # (along with your passport) to check-in for your flights, up to 24 hours prior to departure.
Once you sign up, look for trip emailers (sent to the email address provided on your sign up form) approximately 45, 30, and 7 days prior to departure. These trip emailers contain important trip reminders, helpful links, and the most up-to-date details about your trip.
Approximately 30 DAYS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE, travel documents will be sent by Fed Ex to the mailing address provided on your sign up form. Your travel documents will include: a flight itinerary, airline confirmation # (highlighted in yellow), custom bag tags, a welcome booklet with an overview of trip details, and any other pertinent trip information as needed before you go.
Please bring all travel documents with you on the trip, including your valid passport.
TRIP DETAILS
Your trip package includes: round-trip airfare between destination airport and hotel, airport meet & greet, round-trip transfers between destination airport and hotel (group arrival/departure days only), hotel accommodations for six (6) nights, bellman and housekeeping gratuities, baggage handling at hotel, arrival evening cocktail reception & dinner, all-inclusive food & beverage package, farewell evening cocktail reception & dinner, and a private group hospitality desk manned daily.
Items such as airline baggage fees, pay-for airline seats, meals & drinks outside the hotel all-inclusive food & beverage package, optional tours, telephone calls, gift shop purchases, spa services, golf, laundry and dry cleaning services, and any other items not specifically mentioned as included as part of your trip package, will be at your own expense.
Travel insurance is not included with your trip. If you are interested in travel/medical insurance, please contact Pennie with Cornerstone Travel Group for assistance at: 800-876-1187. Insurance can be purchased up to 7 days prior to your trip departure (subject to change at any time).
There are many optional tours available during your stay. More information on optional tours will become available as the trip departure date gets closer.
Please refer to the welcome booklet in your travel documents for further details on where to locate your transfers once in Costa Rica. Anyone arriving prior to or staying beyond the official group trip dates will be responsible for their own transfers.
RESORT INFO
Hotel check-in time is 3:00pm. Every effort will be made to have your rooms ready upon your arrival, however, it cannot be guaranteed. The hotel will set up and maintain an incidental account for any miscellaneous charges you authorize that are not part of your included trip package. To open your account, please present a major credit card at check-in.
Pre-tipped bellmen will deliver your baggage directly to your rooms when they are ready.
All guest rooms include: air-conditioned, outdoor terrace, living/sitting area, USB outlets, hair dryer, robe & slippers, alarm clock, in-room safe, iron & ironing board, 24-hour room service, bottled water, coffee/tea maker, minibar, TV with cable/satellite featuring CNN, ESPN, and HBO, radio, and Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel property and in your hotel room.
The Westin Reserva Conchal Golf Resort & Spa has a gift shop with souvenirs and sundries available for purchase. Duty-free shopping is available at Liberia International Airport.
A qualified physician* is on call 24 hours/day for emergencies. If you have any prior medical history, medication that is needed, or present illness the hotel should be aware of, please notify them prior to your arrival.

Tipping is included on each item in your trip inclusions. Additional gratuities are at the discretion of the individual. For those instances which you've requested personal services, a customary gesture of a gratuity is always appreciated.
WHILE IN COSTA RICA
Although meals and drinks are included in your stay at the hotel, you may also want to enjoy optional on-site purchases or off-site tours and purchases. You should bring a major credit card for these purchases. VISA®, MasterCard® and American Express® are widely accepted.
Before you travel, call the 800 number on the back of your credit card and tell them where you are going and the dates you will be gone. This will protect you from card declines due to suspected fraud.
The official currency in circulation and medium of exchange in Costa Rica is the Colon. Major credit cards are widely excepted in hotels, better restaurants, and major stores. US dollars are accepted at most all shops. As of print, $1 US is equal to approximately 506.62 Colon (subject to change at any time without notice).
Electricity in Costa Rica runs on the same 60-cycle, 120 volt electrical system as the US. All rooms furnish a hair dryer.
T-Shirts and shorts are acceptable in most places. So while the sun is up, your shorts, tank tops, swimsuits, and sleeveless shirts are the perfect attire. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen. As the sun sets and you set out to enjoy the evening, proper attire may be required. More information regarding dress code can be found in the welcome booklet, located in your travel documents.
Costa Rica is in the Central Standard Time Zone (UTC -6 hours), and does not observe Daylight Savings Time. So in February when it's 12:00pm PST in Portland, OR, it will be 2:00pm CST in Liberia, Costa Rica.
